For this work the pianist Hermann Kretzschmar was invited to interpret the composition „Ich ruf zu Dir Herr Jesu Christ“ (BWV 619) by Johann Sebastian Bach extremely slowly

Each 60 minutes the Bach composition is played through a little soundsystem, which is installed inside the aluminium box. It is, as the aluminium itself would play the sound: quiet, slow and tinny.

The remaining period of time the box stays silent.
